Santa in the City: London runners to don their Santa suits for festive fun run through capital

If you see an assortment of Santa Clauses running in central London next week here’s why.

You can’t get more festive than running through the decked out streets of London in a five-piece Santa Suit, can you? Well that’s exactly what some capital runners are prepping for.

Santa In The City which invites runners to don a St Nick’s iconic red suit is back for the 2024 festive season.

Having become an annual tradition of Christmas in the capital in recent years, the charity fun run will once again see a selection of Santas race across the city.

Here’s everything Londoners need to know about this year’s event.

What is the Santa In The City London run?

It is a fun run which invites Londoners to run a 4.5km course around some of the city’s most famous landmarks dressed in a Santa suit including a Hat, beard, jacket, trousers & belt.

When is the 2024 Santa In The City run in London?

This year’s event will be held over two days, December 4 & 5. Both runs will be held in the evening and will start at 7pm.

What is the route of the 2024 Santa In The City run in London?

Starting just behind St Paul’s Cathedral in Paternoster Square the route will take runners along the north bank before crossing the River Thames via Southwark bridge and past Shakespeare’s Globe and the Tate Modern. Back over the water across the Millennium Bridge, the route will take runners back to Paternoster Square.
