A TikTok claiming Raising Canes is opening in London has gone viral again - but sadly it still isn’t true.

Despite an array of viral TikTok videos claiming the US fast food chain Raising Cane’s is coming to London, the chain is yet to land in the UK.

Founded in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Raising Cane’s has become famous worldwide for its Chicken Fingers and intriguing dipping sauce.

It currently has almost 750 locations across the US and has other international restaurants across the middle east but is yet to arrive in England.

However, over the past year, several videos have been uploaded to TikTok insisting a Raising Cane's is set to open in the UK capital, London.

Sorry UK Raising Cane's fans, it doesn't look like the famous chain is crossing the pond just yet.Sorry UK Raising Cane's fans, it doesn't look like the famous chain is crossing the pond just yet.

Another more recent video which claimed a Raising Cane’s had opened on London’s Oxford Street has already reached almost 700,000 views just a day after it was posted.

As you can imagine many users have shared their delight at the US chain possibly arriving in the UK in the comments of the posts.

However, despite the excitement, a London Raising Cane's doesn't look likely just yet.

At this time, there has been no confirmation of a London restaurant by the chain’s official social media pages.

The upcoming restaurants section on Raising Cane's website also does not feature London as one of its new locations.
