Who is supporting Taylor Swift’s Wembley Stadium Eras Tour shows?

While Sabrina Carpenter has become a beloved opener of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, the European leg will feature a different support.
Having kicked off Swift’s shows across her Latin America shows and more recently in both Australia and Singapore, Carpenter has been a staple of the Eras tour so far.

Hide AdBut for the upcoming European shows, US rockers Paramore will open for Taylor Swift, including the eight shows at Wembley Stadium.
Formed in 2004, the group, whose current members include singer Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York, and drummer Zac Farro, went on to gain their now-renowned stardom in the alt-rock scene after following the release of their sophomore album Riot!.
Two decades on, the album has sold over 3 million copies in the US, with their hit single Misery Business from the record still one of their top songs to date.
Earlier this year, the band became Grammy award winners after their sixth studio album, This Is Why, received the prestigious music accolade for rock album of the year.

Hide AdTheir upcoming London shows supporting at the 90,000 capacity Wembley Stadium is set to be Paramore’s biggest capital shows yet.
However it won’t be the band’s first time performing in the Wembley area. Paramore have previously headlined shows at the nearby Wembley Arena a few times over the years.
Swift confirmed Paramore would be joining her for the European leg of the Eras Tour in July last year. In a statement across her social media she gushed about how excited she was share the stage with the group’s lead singer Haley Williams once again.
She wrote: “Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Hide AdReflecting on their upcoming shows together in an interview with Uproxx, Williams echoed the excitement.
She said: “To be able to play with an artist like her for me represents how long we’ve been at this, and how much shit we’ve seen. Now, it’s time to have a fun summer.”
