Will Post Malone's Tottenham Hotspur gigs be cancelled due to Tube strikes? Latest updates

Post Malone’s upcoming two Tottenham Hotspur Stadium shows have been rescheduled due to the planned Tube strikes.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was set to host Post Malone this week for two massive shows, but due to the upcoming Tube strikes in London, both shows have now been rescheduled.

The Sunflower hitmaker was set to perform for capital fans at the north London spot this Sunday (September 7) and Monday (September 8).

However, during both concert days, the Tube union RMT has confirmed its members will go on strike over pay and working conditions.

The Sunday, September 7, show will now take place on Saturday, September 20, while the Monday, September 8, show will move to Sunday, September 21.

Have Post Malone’s Tottenham Hotspur gigs been cancelled?

No. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has confirmed Post Malone’s two shows have been rescheduled in a statement on its website today (September 5), just days before the concerts were expected to take place.

The venue wrote: “We’re sorry to announce that, due to planned industrial action on the London Underground, the two Post Malone concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium cannot take place this Sunday & Monday.

“Without a Tube service, it’s impossible to get people to the concert and home again safely, and therefore no event licence can be granted for the nights of 7th and 8th September.”

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is located between three Overground stations, Silver Street and Bruce Grove, with White Hart Lane being the closest.

The Elizabeth line, London Overground and trams will be running normally during the Tube strikes, but they are expected to be extremely busy.
