Everything you need to know about Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium, including how to get to the venue.

Tottenham boast one of the best venues in the world in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The four-star UEFA stadium is one of the most expensive sports stadiums ever built, costing around £1billion to design and construct.

The stadium holds 62,850 fans, and the record attendance is just below that, currently standing at 62,027 from a North London derby with Arsenal in May of 2022. The stadium also hosts NFL games each year after being added to the list of European venues, along with Wembley Stadium, to host games, and the two London stadiums are the only permanent European venues at this stage.

How to get to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

When travelling by car, exit the M25 at Junction 25 and take the A10, heading towards Enfield. Once on the A10, continue through Enfield and once on the Northern Circular roundabout, turn left onto the A406, Sterling Way. Once on Sterling Way, turn right onto Fore Road and shortly after the road becomes High Road, you will see the stadium.

Parking at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

There is no official parking offered at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while there are strict parking controls at place on matchdays that limit parking to residents and blue badge holders. As ever, there are some pricey private parking areas within the area, but to avoid a steep outlay, it is recommended that fans park elsewhere in London and reach the stadium by public transport.

Stadium design

Speaking about what makes the design of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium special, the venue’s architect, Tom Jones, told Populous: “On the one hand it’s the atmosphere that’s generated in the seating bowl, using that single tier South Stand to create a ‘heartbeat’ and really drive the atmosphere within the seating bowl.

“But I think it’s the spaces that we’ve created at the bottom, the middle and the top of the building – the Tunnel Club, the H Club, The Market Place and the Sky Lounge right at the top of the stadium – that create a whole set of different and unique experiences for people to enjoy as they go around the stadium.”
