When Santa is expected to fly over London to deliver presents across the city tonight.

Christmas Eve is finally here, and for anyone keeping tabs on Santa’s sleigh, the countdown to his London flyover is officially on.

With Santa trackers already lighting up, Londoners can follow his progress in real time as he and his reindeer make their way closer to the capital through the evening.

And he won’t be short of landmarks to guide him in. This Christmas Eve, the top of The Shard is set to glow with a giant red stocking, making sure Father Christmas has London firmly in his sights.

So when exactly is Santa expected to reach the capital tonight? Here’s what we know.

What time will Father Christmas fly over London tonight?

Santa is expected to fly over the capital just before midnight.

Based on past sleigh timings on the NORAD Santa tracker, Father Christmas previously flew over London around 11.40pm.

If Kriss Kringle keeps to the same schedule this year, he may arrive in the city at about the same time.

How to track Santa’s Christmas Eve journey

Londoners wanting to keep up with Santa’s journey over the capital skies and beyond can see where Old Saint Nick is via the 2025 NORAD and Google trackers.
