Regent Street Christmas lights: All the iconic Christmas lights that will switch on in London tonight
Regent Street, Carnaby Street and the West End will be lit up for Christmas from tonight!
Magical things are happening in London today as the city prepares for Christmas!
Today, November 7th will see several Christmas lights switched on across the city.
Iconic locations such as Carnaby Street and Regent Street will switch their lights on this evening, setting the tone for the festive period.
Oxford Street, the country’s largest shopping destination, switched on its lights earlier this week.

Carnaby Street Christmas Light switch on tonight
Carnaby Street Christmas light switch-on will take place from 4-7pm tonight (November 7).
This year’s display titled, Into The Light, will feature six-metre sculptural light forms and thousands of energy-efficient LEDs casting a 'golden glow' over Carnaby Street.
Tonight’s launch event promises a blend of festive shopping and dining experiences, with exclusive discounts from over 50 brands.
There will be light shows every 30 minutes accompanied by a live Christmas choir performance.
When will Regent Street Christmas lights go on?
Regent Street and St James’ will also be lit up with ‘The Spirit of Christmas’ tonight.
'The Spirit of Christmas' will be lit from 7 November 2024, with the displays switched on from early evening on a timer every day for a more sustainable display.
Wander down Glasshouse Street, Swallow Street, and glittering Quadrant Arcade to enjoy our sparkling installations.
Snap a picture with the Wishing Tree, where you can tap to donate and watch it illuminate. Donations will go to The Felix Project, an incredible organisation dedicated to feeding London’s communities.
West End Christmas lights
The West End will also be lit up for Christmas from tonight. The collaboration with Art of London will see many famous locations including Leicester Square illuminated with festive cheer.
Leicester Square’s Christmas lights will be illuminated from 7th November 2024 - 7th January 2025. They will coincide with the Christmas Market.
Coventry Street lights will be illuminated from 7th November 2024 - 7th January 2025.
Cranbourn, Irving & Bear Street lights will be illuminated from 7th November 2024 - 7th January 2025.
The Piccadilly Christmas lights will be switched on from 7th November 2024 until 5th January 2025.
