The BBC Proms 2023 season is set to wrap up this week after almost two months of music festivities in the capital. The final evening of classical sounds at the Royal Albert Hall will be this Saturday (September 9).

Over the summer, Proms once again took over the iconic concert hall as audiences were played some timeless compositions as well as some modern pieces. The music festivities will come to an end this week after almost two months.

The closing night is set to be the ‘biggest musical party of the year’ according to the Royal Albert Hall website. Both cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason and soprano Lise Davidsen are set to play alongside the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.

As explained on the Royal Albert Hall website, doors for the last night of BBC Proms 2023 will open at 5.30pm.

The event will start at 7pm with and will have a 35-minute interval from 8.25pm. The second half will kick off at 9pm. The full programme for the evening is below:

The concert hall reserves limited tickets that will be available for sale on the day of each Proms event. Promming tickets for the last night of BBC Proms 2023 will be available the morning of the event on September 9 at 10.30am.
