Jellycat teases Selfridges' fish and chips menu revamp with cryptic Instagram post
Some “tasty” new arrivals are apparently set to join the Jellycat chip shop menu.
Jellycat’s London Fish & Chips Experience at Selfridges is getting some new menu items according to a cryptic new post on Instagram.
In a post on Jellycat’s official fan community page on Instagram, Jellyfriends, the beloved brand teased some “tasty” new arrivals.
Revealing that they are “cooking up a new menu” at the London experience, the post stated the revamp is set to launch next Monday, May 12.
Sharing a sweet snap of Timmy Turtle serving from inside a fish and chip van, the text at the top of the image reads: “We’re cooking up a new menu. Exclusively at Selfridges from Monday, May 12, 2025.”
The caption of the post went on to add: “Who’s got an appetite for a new Fish & Chips menu?
“Look out for some tasty new arrivals being served up at the Jellycat Fish & Chips Experience, only at @theofficialselfridges in London from May 12th! Time slots are available to book now via the Selfridges website.”
Sadly the post did not share what exactly the new Jellycat additions would be or how many would be joining the menu, so fans will have to wait till launch day to find out.
The experience already has a range of fish and chips themed cuddly offerings that are exclusive to the capital spot.
From salt and vinegar bottles to a newspaper-wrapped portion of chips, there is also a battered fish and mushy peas to buy.
As part of the experience, fans can book a time slot to place a plushie order and watch staff prepare and package your order to go.
The upcoming new additions to the plushie chippy come almost a year after the experience debuted at Selfridges London in July last year.
