Playing Father Christmas isn’t as easy as sticking on a beard and passing out gifts - it’s an art form.

That’s where the London Santa School comes into play. It’s a magical place where Santas from across the country are taught how to put the magic into their ‘ho-ho-hos’.

By the end of the course, students will be able to deliver a magical experience for children and families at Grottos, Christmas markets, and more.

Santa school also acts as a place for Santas to share their experiences and learn about all the new toys that will be in high demand this Christmas.

One Santa said: “Playing Father Christmas is the most magical job of all. It’s very important and very rewarding.”

He also recalled how “lovely” singer Adele came to see him in one of London’s department stores. And so did Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Father Christmas added: “It doesn’t matter what age you are, whether you’re a celebrity or otherwise. Come and see Santa and get that Christmas magic back.”
