From packed bagels to crumbles covered in custard - these are some deliciously festive treats to try in LDN.

We all know that Christmas calories don’t count.

The best part about this year is shamelessly eating whatever you like - just because it’s Christmas.

That’s why London is undoubtedly the best place to visit during the festive season. There are treats for every taste bud.

Whether you’ve got a sweet tooth and use the festive season as an excuse to consume chocolate-covered everything or you prefer to take your Christmas treats smothered in cheese.

1. Humble Crumble

Humble Crumble is the world’s first crumble bakery. Available from Camden Market and Old Spitalfields Market, this bakery takes sweet treats to the next level.

Try the Humble Crumble x Biscuiteers mince pie for the ultimate festive treat. Smother that bad boy in custard and enjoy.

If mince pies aren’t your thing, how do you feel about a sticky toffee apple crumble? Yeah pretty good I bet.

2. Fried turkey doughnut sandwich

Get ready to sleigh this festive season as London welcomes its first fried turkey doughnut Christmas sandwich! (Yep, you did read that right.)

El Pollote in Soho has teamed up with Borough 22 Doughnuts to create a one-of-a-kind entirely gluten-free festive sarnie aptly named the El Pavo Noel.

It’s sweet, it’s savoury, it’s deep-fried, and it screams Christmas. It’s very naughty but it’s very nice.

3. Sausage rolls from Ginger Pig

While sausage rolls aren’t just for Christmas, they are a delicious treat.

The Ginger Pig is renowned for serving some of the best sausage rolls in London.

The flavour-packed sausage meat is wrapped in a buttery puff pastry roll. Simply irresistible and massive too. We wouldn’t be surprised if a festive edition lands on the menu soon.

Where: The Ginger Pig, Borough Market.

4. The ultimate Christmas sandwich, Black Pig

The battle for the title of best Christmas sandwich is not one to be taken lightly.

But we think we might have found a winner. The Black Pig in Borough Market is serving a sumptuous and stacked Christmas sarnie.

It’s got slow-roasted pork, bread sauce, sautéed leeks and cabbage, tangy apple and cranberry slaw.

Want even more flavour? How about the Sleigher 3.0? Smoked turkey, slow roast pork shoulder, gravy mayo, braised spiced red cabbage, cranberry sauce, pecan onion and sage crumble, and a cheesy leek and pancetta croquette on ciabatta.

5. Long boys doughnut

Found at Seven Dials Market, Long Boys serves extra long, stuffed doughnuts.

The signature brioche-style finger doughnut is rolled in sugar and then stuffed with fillings of your choice.

Our top pick right now is the warming Pear and Ginger longboy. It’s rolled in ginger sugar before filling it with a pear compote. It is then piped with a layer of the creamiest ginger cremeaux. Finish it with poached pears, pain d’epices croutons, and candied stem ginger.

Where: Seven Dials Market

5. Gingerbread latte and a bagel (with gravy for dipping)

Hop into any chain on London’s high street and you’ll be able to find a gingerbread latte - but this one is special.

B Bagel has recently launched its festive range including a tofu tinsel treat bagel and a holly jolly turkey bagel which comes with a delicious gravy for dipping purposes.
