What will the London Hunger Games stage adaptation be based on?

The Hunger Games stage adaptation will delve into the story of the first book in the dystopian-themed literature series.

As fans of the book and its blockbuster film edition will know, the initial story of the franchise focuses on the annual televised competition known as the Hunger Games, which sees young tributes from the 12 districts of Panem selected via lottery to fight to the death.

After her sister's name is drawn in the lottery, audiences follow the story of Katniss Everdeen through the competition after she chooses to step up to volunteer in her place.
