Greenwich gets a Wicked makeover ahead of movie's release - and its even had a clever name change

Paying homage to the green witch herself Elphaba, the London borough has temporarily changed its name to Greenwitch. 

To celebrate some of the areas road signs have had a revamp and more themed signs have been put up making a Wicked themed trail of sorts.

Some local businesses have also joined in on the theme in the area including the green cafe and the Greenwich picture house.

There is more to discover at Greenwich market which has been adorned with displays showing  each of the movie’s characters.
