Wicked fever takes over London with themed pop-ups and magical displays

While the Wicked Movie will not hit cinemas until later this month the anticipated new release has already bewitched the capital.
From window displays to Christmas trees London is certainly proving green goes well with pink at the moment.

Hide AdThe hype for the movie has even inspired one of the city’s boroughs to get into the witchy spirit having rebranded its name and area signs temporarily for the new release.
We’ve compiled all the London spots that have Wicked-themed displays to visit.
Hamleys
One of the beloved toy store’s Christmas window displays was themed around the new movie. One side is green and the other pink with a photo of Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as Elphaba and Glinda connecting the two colours.

Liberty


The luxury department store has also dedicated a window display to the movie. Recreating the emerald city, the show stopper is the window which features Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande as Elphaba and Glinda reaching out to each other made from flowers.

Parts of the Emerald City are also able to visit in London’s St Pancras station as its Christmas tree recreates architecture seen in the capital of Oz.
Lush have also opened a Wicked themed pop up at the spot which has a range of themed products including an exclusive Christmas tree soap inspired by the station’s Oz inspired tree.

Greenwich
In celebration of the new movie, the borough has rolled out themed signs at different Greenwich spots including its Market and station.

A Popcorn Emporium will open to fans in Soho thanks to the brand Butterkist which has been made to look as if it were in the heart of the Emerald City.
