A collection of forgotten photographs of David Bowie will go on display for a limited time in the capital from Friday (March 1).

A new exhibition in London will showcase an array of archived images of David Bowie. The collection, originally captured in 1992, was commissioned to promote the music icon's 18th studio album, Black Tie White Noise.

The David Bowie - A London Day exhibition pictures the singer across a day of promo photography as well as a more intimate session showing a snapshot into his life away from fame.

Showcasing a total of 20 images, the photographs featured in the display were approved by Bowie himself at the time of which they were captured via mark-ups on the photographer's original contact sheets.

The exhibition will be on display at the Fitzrovia Chapel for just over two weeks starting this Friday, March 1. It will wrap up its stint at the venue on March 20.
