Coldplay fans are convinced the band will have residency at Wembley Stadium in 2025 - and this is why
It seems like Oasis may not be the only big name to take over London’s Wembley Stadium next year as Coldplay fans are hoping the band will also have a residency at the west London venue.
In a recent interview, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin hinted that the band is planning to announce an extended residency in one city.

While Martin didn’t specify which city the shows would be based, the interview moment has since gone viral on TikTok as some Coldplay fans have begun sharing their predictions of where the concerts could take place.
One TikTok using the audio has already amassed over 3.5million views and unsurprisingly, London’s Wembley Stadium seems to be a popular guess in its comments.

Fans’ predictions may just be on the right track as earlier this summer it was reported Coldplay were eyeing up Wembley Stadium for a possible 10 show residency.
A source told The Sun in July, the eco conscious band had considered performing just at Wembley Stadium in place of a traditional tour across the country.
They told the publication: “Coldplay want to do something super special for Moon Music and they have discussed the idea of doing a set residency rather than touring across the UK. Wembley has been mooted as a possible location which would work for a ten-date residency, for example.”
