Alegria: In a New Light show, which has a Grammy-nominated soundtrack, transports audiences to a mystical world as they watch a once-glorious kingdom battle the old order and the youth's desire to change. Of course, the production's story is told through mesmerising acrobatics, which is brought to life by Cirque Du Soleil's vibrant sets and costumes.

Ahead of Cirque Du Soleil's opening night next week, we went backstage at the Royal Albert Hall and got a sneak peek of the production's crazy acrobatic rehearsals and caught up with some of the Cirque Du Soleil performers and others who help the show run behind the scenes.

One of the show's trapeze artist's Ahmed Tuniziani who has been trapizing since he was five years old, admitted performing at London's Royal Albert Hall was a "dream come true" for him.

He said: "It's such an amazing place. There is such a history in this place. So for us performers, all the greatest performers have been here and it kind of makes you feel like a great one too."
