Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy by Helen Fielding is the fourth installment in the Bridget Jones series. It takes place years after the events of Bridget Jones’ Baby and finds Bridget navigating a new stage of her life.

Bridget is now in her early 50s and grappling with widowhood after the tragic loss of her beloved Mark Darcy. She's raising their two young children, Billy and Mabel, while attempting to rebuild her life. True to form, Bridget remains hilariously chaotic, struggling with modern challenges like online dating, texting etiquette, and social media.
