From Fairgame to The Alchemist, here are some of London’s best night-out spots according to city locals.

Navigating London’s vast nightlife scene can be hard, especially as it seems everyone is focused on finding the next big thing.

However, that doesn't mean you should discount some of the capital’s most well-known spots. 

Nightlife discovery website DesignMyNight asked Londoners to vote on their favourite places in the city as part of its 2024 Art Of Going Out Awards.

Leighanne Bent, marketing manager at DesignMyNight, said: “The DesignMyNight Awards exist to champion the best of the capital. London's been getting a bit of a bad rap lately so the winner announcement couldn't have come at a better time.

“It's one of the best cities in the world for food, drinks and experiences, and this year's list is showing the proof is in the pudding. This is a fantastic accolade to win as it’s chosen by the people on the ground. ”

Below are the London venues that came out on top based on the London locals’ votes. 

The Ivy Asia

The extravagant interiors of The Ivy Asia are sure to spice up any evening, so it’s no surprise it was voted the best date night spot with a difference in the capital. 

The Alchemist 

The cocktail bar chain which has venue’s scattered across the capital was voted the most elite in the city.

Ronnie Scott’s

The World-famous jazz club, which has hosted many a celeb guest over the years, bagged the title of Late Night Guilty Pleasure.

The Churchill Arms 

Onto pubs, and it seems the tavern Londoners couldn't live without is the Flower-bedecked Kensington haunt The Churchill Arms. 

Fairgame  

The funfair-themed spot, which allows adults to be kids again, was voted the most impressive newcomer to the London nightlife scene.
