The World's 50 Best Bars ranking is an annual list that highlights where the top places to drink are worldwide. The 2023 ranking was released on Tuesday (October 17).

The top rated London venue placed fifth in the World's 50 Best Bars 2023. The Connaught is in the heart of Mayfair and has built a reputation for its speciality Martini's.

A Bar with Shapes for a Name, which uses colourful shapes to illustrate its name, was at 35 on the World's 50 Best Bars 2023 list. Echoing functionalism and minimalism, the spot has an intentionally limited bar featuring just 20 bottles of spirits, which all its drinks are made from.
