The Barbie Movie is finally coming to London. The highly anticipated release will premiere in the capital on Wednesday (July 12).

The doll-themed flick is set to take over central London this week as it premieres in Leicester Square. The capital’s cinema district will welcome both the Barbie film cast and fans to honour the first London screening.

Londoners will be able to be a part of the Barbie hype early ahead of the flick’s release next week. The doll-themed movie will hit cinemas in the capital and across the UK on July 21.

Barbie and Ken actors Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling previously hinted they would be coming to London last month. In a video on the film’s social media, the pair revealed they would be heading to the capital as part of a global tour.

The Barbie movie premiere will take place on Wednesday, July 12. The festivities will kick off in the early evening as the movie’s stars are set to walk a specially laid pink carpet from 5.45pm.

How to watch the Barbie movie London premiere

Those wanting to see the Barbie Movie premiere in person may be able to watch the film’s stars from the sidelines of the carpet on the day of the premiere. Wristbands to watch the pink carpet will be handed out to lucky Barbie fans on a first-come, first-served basis by a member of security outside Cineworld Leicester Square on Wednesday (July 12) from 8am.

Alternatively, fans will also be able to catch up with the pink carpet action on social media. The Warner Bros UK TikTok page will live stream the event from 6pm on the day.
