London marathon 2025: Full list of DLR and Elizabeth line service changes and closures for Sunday’s race
The 2025 London Marathon is almost upon us, and whether you’re watching in person or taking part, here’s all the TfL service alterations and closures planned for the day.
Londoners travelling into the capital this weekend for the marathon should be largely unaffected by service alterations, but there are a few planned changes.

Hide AdWhile there is expected to be good service across the underground on Sunday (April 27) there will be minor changes to DLR and Elizabeth line services on the day.
Transport for London (TfL) has asked Londoners to check before they travel across the network.
To get the most latest updates on the Underground, DLR and Overground you can use the TfL app or website.
Here is the full list of planned TfL service changes during the 2025 London Marathon:
London Underground
Waterloo & City line - closed

Hide AdThere are no Waterloo & City line services on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank/public holidays.
DLR
There will be modified services running on Sunday until 4pm. These changes are listed below:
- Cutty Sark station will be entry only
- Services from Tower Gateway to Lewisham will starting earlier from 5.30am
- Trains to and from Beckton will terminate at Poplar
- Trains to and from Woolwich Arsenal will only operate to and from Stratford International only.
Elizabeth Line
Reduced service between Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 4 / Maidenhead.
No trains will serve Acton Main Line, West Ealing, and Hanwell on the day.
The following hourly services will be available:

Hide Ad- Two trains per hour serve Heathrow Terminal 4, Heathrow Terminal 5, West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham, and Maidenhead
- Four trains per hour serve Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3
- Six trains an hour serve Ealing Broadway, Southall, and Hayes & Harlington
