Rice latest

West Ham skipper Declan Rice is expected to head out the exit door this summer and the London club will be looking to get the best deal possible for him. The England international’s next destination is unknown though and in this latest update by The Telegraph, Manchester United are ‘ready’ to compete with rivals Arsenal and Manchester City in pursuit of him. The 24-year-old made 50 appearances in all competitions last term and chipped in with five goals.

Fulham man eyed as replacement

The Hammers have reportedly identified Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha as a potential replacement for if Rice was to leave. However, the Cottagers won’t sell him on the cheap and the Daily Mail claim they want a whopping £90million for his signature. The Portugal star moved to Craven Cottage 12 months ago from Sporting Lisbon and has adapted to life in England with ease under Marco Silva since then.

EFL ace eyed

West Ham are apparently ‘weighing’ up a move for Bristol City teenager Alex Scott as they hunt for reinforcements in the middle of the park, as per a report by the Evening Standard. The 19-year-old, who is from Guernsey, is being tipped for a bright future in the game. He broke into the senior team at Ashton Gate in the Championship in 2020 and has since played 89 games for Nigel Pearson’s side.
