West Ham star Mohammed Kudus was spotted at Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night (October 1) following claims that he had a ‘bust-up’ with Irons coach Julen Lopetegui.

Speaking to the media after full-time, Lopetegui said subbing Kudus was merely for ‘tactical reasons’ as he believed Carlos Soler was what the side ‘needed’ at the time. “I was thinking it was better for the team,” the Spanish head coach suggested. “I was thinking ‘you need this in the match’.”
It has not, however, taken long for rumours of a bust-up to be reported. While some insider sources have claimed the Irons manager likes the passion shown by the Ghanaian, reports from the Athletic have suggested that the Hammers owners have actually made contact with Kudus’s representatives regarding the alleged bust-up, which supposedly took place at half-time on Saturday.

Kudus joined the Irons from Ajax in the summer of 2023, for a fee reported to be around £38 million. The deal was regarded as somewhat of a coup, and the Ghana international quickly adapted to Premier League life, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 33 league matches.
His impressive debut campaign saw the winger linked with both Arsenal and Liverpool in the summer, but ultimately neither club made the move to sign him
Such links could resurface once again following Kudus’s visit to the Emirates on Tuesday night, with conversations about his long-term Irons future set to be reignited.
