Cody Drameh and Chris Bedia put Hull City 2-0 up in the first half before Nicolas Masden pulled one back from a penalty on the stroke of half-time.
As QPR improved in the second half, the London outfit were dealt a suckerpunch by Canada international Millar, who lashed home in the 71st minute to kill the game. Speaking after the match, the ex Addicks star said: "It feels amazing. Three wins on the bounce is important for us. We deserved it in the end and it was a good performance.
"I'm seven games in now and have been wanting that goal, sniffing for it. I got a little bit lucky with the blocked shot but it didn't really matter. It went in at the end of the day, my first goal for the club and hopefully the first of many."

A product of the Liverpool youth academy, Millar spent a brief loan spell with Charlton Athletic in 2021 as the Reds looked to allow the youngster to gain more experience. The midfielder enjoyed a successful time at The Valley, racking up 27 appearances over half a season with three goals and six assists.
Millar only ever made one appearance for the Liverpool first team before being sold to FC Basel for £1.3 million. The player spent three years with the Swiss outfit but was on loan at Preston North End last season.
Hull City paid a reported £1.5 million to bring Millar to the MKM Stadium this summer and the winger has made nine appearances with two goals and one assist so far.
