West Ham player ratings - 'Fantastic' 8/10 but 'unconvincing' 5 in tight Tottenham draw

West Ham had to settle for a point in a tight meeting with Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening.

West Ham picked up a well-earned point against Tottenham Hotspur as the two sides met in a feisty encounter at the London Stadium on Tuesday night.

It didn't take long for the pace of Spurs to cause the home side problems as Timo Werner beat Valdimir Coufal and slotted a dangerous ball back into the box which was all too inviting for Brennan Johnson who opened the scoring.

The Hammers weren't to be deterred with a flurry of whipped Jarrod Bowen corners eventually leading to the opener. Kurt Zouma jinked his way through the Spurs defence and leapt with the cross hitting the back of the net from his back.

The fixture simmered nicely until half time with chances for both sides and pockets of space appearing all over the pitch. After the break, it was West Ham who started quicker as a Coufal run energised his colleagues.

Lucas Paqueta went close to finding the top corner from the edge of the box and Michail Antonio also blasted a powerful shot goalward that was ultimately an easy take for Guglielmo Vicario.

The Jamaica international then burst through one-on-one after shrugging off Micky van de Ven but looked too tired to pull off a shot capable of anything more than rolling into the keeper's midriff - although any goal would likely have been chalked off for a Paqueta foul in the run-up.

After that rush, West Ham faded as Spurs enjoyed long spells of possession and David Moyes flapped his arms on the touchline in a bid to wave his side up the pitch.

Here's how the West Ham players rated on Tuesday night.
