As per a report by Irish Independent, he is ‘set’ to link up with the Rams on loan.

Story so far

West Ham signed Anang back in 2017 after he impressed on trial.

He had previously played in Ghana for Danbort and Wa All Stars and has since risen up through the academy of the Hammers.

The stopper was a regular for the London club at various youth levels before going out on loan for the first time with Stevenage in League Two to gain some experience during the first-half of last season.

Anang was then given the green light to move to St. Pat’s in January and has since played 30 games in all competitions for the League of Ireland team.

A switch to Derby is now on the cards and they now find themselves in League One.

Former Premier League full-back Liam Rosenior, who is currently in interim charge at Pride Park, has won two out of their opening three games.

Other news

In other West Ham news, they have apparently backed out of talks with Fenerbahce defender Attila Szalai, according to Turkish outlet Fotomac.
