West Ham will have to get back to winning ways if they are to sustain their push for a top four finish to get Champions League football next season.

It’s been a difficult last couple of weeks for the Hammers and the draw against Newcastle would have hurt the east London side.

Teams around West Ham are beginning to pick up form, and that has limited the room for error  going into the business end of the season.

David Moyes’ side are four points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, and they are on the same points with sixth-placed Arsenal who have played two games fewer.

Moyes knows just how quickly things can change in the Premier League and will want to get all his players back for the game against Wolves this weekend.

So here is an update on all the Hammers’ players currently still out.

The left back has missed the last four games due to a recurring knee injury, and the club have been contemplating what is the best form of treatment.

The DR Congo international is back in training, but it remains to be seen if he will get enough sessions under his belt to make the squad for the game against Wolves this weekend.

Potential return date: Wolves (H) Feb 27

Manuel Lanzini

The diminutive Argentine number 10 missed the draw against Newcastle with a reported achilles problem.

According to sources, the midfielder has been struggling with this issue for sometime and it was the reason he was only a substitute for the win against Watford.

Manager David Moyes was quite tight lipped when asked about Lanzini, because there is really no one in the West Ham team like the Argentine.

His ability to transform defence into attack will be pivotal for the Hammers, and there is slim chance that he will be available for the game against Wolves, but the safest option will be the away game in the FA Cup against Southampton in early March.

Potential return date: Southampton (A) FA Cup March 2

Vladimír Coufal

The Czech Republic defender is one of the Hammers’ most consistent players, and has turned out in 22 league games this season.

Reports are that the defender is suffering from a groin injury, and that is why he was absent from the disappointing game against Newcastle.

It looks like the Czech won’t be fit for the Wolves match, but Ben Johnson might be called in once again to help solidify the backline.

Coufal’s return date is not clear, but there are whispers he could be out for the next two weeks and that sees him looking at the home game against Aston Villa in a fortnight’s time for his comeback.

Potential return date: Aston Villa (H) March 13
