Six West Ham players are jetting off to Qatar for the World Cup with their respective countries this week. Declan Rice (England), Alphonse Areola (France), Thilo Kehrer (Germany), Nayef Aguerd (Morocco), Nikola Vlasic (Croatia) and Lucas Paqueta (Brazil) have all linked up with their national teams following the Irons’ final match before the break.

Rice will feature in England’s first match against Iran on Monday and is likely to be named in Gareth Southgate’s starting line-up throughout the tournament. Perhaps one of the favourites to win the World Cup is Paqueta’s Brazil, with the 25-year-old being an ever present figure under Tite since making his international debut four years ago.
