A club statement read: “We are aware of the incident and will work to identify the perpetrators. All details will be passed on to the police. They will receive a permanent ban and will not be allowed to enter London Stadium or travel with the club. There is no room for this behaviour.”
West Ham still alive despite 2-1 defeat at home
The game itself belonged to the German who scored early both in the first and second half to go win on the day.
The Hammers, usually so good during this sensational Europa League campaign just never found consistency of and rhythm but will feel they can produce a better performance in Germany to seal the win that will be required to reach the final.

Said Benrahma also narrowly missed after the Algerian came in and injected some pace and urgency into the game.
The good news though is defender Kurt Zouma returned from his ankle injury and even though he could not arrest the defeat played 90 minutes and he would be much fitter for the second leg.
