The Irons fought off interest from Sevilla to win the race for the German.

Thilo Kehrer joined PSG from Schalke as an exciting young player four years ago, with the Ligue 1 club paying €37 million for the defender.

Bar a foot injury that left Kehrer sidelined for four months in 2019, the Germany international made 78 league appearances across four seasons for PSG, helping them to three Ligue 1 titles in the process.

However, his first team opportunities are limited now with Presnel Kimpembe, Sergio Ramos and Marquinhos, while Kehrer was yet to even feature for PSG this season.

Meanwhile, Kehrer has also had plenty of success with the national team, first captaining the U21 side to Euro glory in 2017 before being called up to the senior squad the following year.
