West Ham United will travel south to take on Southampton at St Mary’s in the latest gameweek in the Premier League. Southampton are in dreadful form in the Premier League, losing their last four games.

Meanwhile, West Ham are unbeaten in their last four, including two wins in the Europa Conference League. They brushed Anderlecht aside winning 2-1 at the London Stadium on Thursday (October 13).

The Saints haven’t won a game since the end of August, where they beat Chelsea at home 2-1. And West Ham haven’t lost a game since mid-September, a run that has lifted them to 13th in the league after a poor start.

This game seems crucial for Southampton boss Ralph Hassenhuttl, with many believing a loss may seal his fate. He has come under increasing pressure in the last few weeks, with four losses on the bounce not helping his cause.

Why is Southampton vs West Ham not on TV?

Despite the game not being played during the 3pm blackout, which prohibits games in England from being televised during certain periods on a Saturday, the game is not being televised.

BT Sport does not pick up Sunday games in the Premier League, whilst Sky Sports has chosen to air Aston Villa vs Chelsea instead, which also kicks off at 2pm.
