Leicester City have sacked first team coaches Ben Dawson and Danny Alcock today following a dismal run of form that has left the club in a desperate fight for Premier League survival.
The Foxes were hammered 4-0 by Brentford at the King Power Stadium on Friday and are now with just one top flight win in their last 12 outings. That run of form has left Leicester City 19th in the table, five points adrift of Wolves in 17th place.

Leicester City sack two first team coaches
The fixtures keep coming thick and fast for Leicester City with a tricky trip to West Ham on Thursday night, the hosts buoyed by a head-turning 1-0 win over Arsenal on Saturday. Van Nistelrooy then returns to the capital again on March 9 to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
However, he will do so with changes in his coaching staff with the club confirming today that it had parted ways with Ben Dawson and Danny Alcock. An official statement on the club website read: "Leicester City has today parted company with First Team Coaches Ben Dawson and Danny Alcock.
"Both Ben and Danny joined the Club at the start of the 2024/25 season, serving under both Steve Cooper and Ruud van Nistelrooy, while also overseeing a brief spell in interim charge of the First Team squad. We place on record our thanks to Ben and Danny for their contribution and service and wish them both well in the next steps of their respective careers."

West Ham and Chelsea up next for Foxes after Brentford defeat
Speaking after the 4-0 defeat to Brentford, Foxes shot-stopper Mads Hermansen bemoaned a 'tough night'. He said: "We became a bit too open after we conceded the first goal. I think we are also in the state of mind at the moment where if we concede it is very uphill for us.
"What could help us in this moment is an early goal, get a lead and then work our way in the game. A tough night. We are in a tough situation, that is clear. It is tough for us as players and tough for the club in general. I know it sounds silly to say every week but we just have to work hard in training every week.
"The easy answer is to say we need to keep working. I think we are quite lucky we are still quite close to the other teams. We are always trying to stay positive as a group of players but it is tough at the moment."
In other news, West Ham are ‘ready’ to battle Leeds United and David Moyes for a ‘breathtaking’ 18-year-old.
