Michail Antonio was on the scoresheet again against Liverpool but pulled out an unusual celebration.

West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus fired a hilarious five-word quip at striker Michail Antonio after the talisman netted the leveller against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers held the Reds to a point at the London Stadium thanks to Antonio's goal with just under 15 minutes left to play. The result delivered another huge blow to Liverpool's Premier League title ambitions, with tempers flaring on the touchline between Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah.

It was David Moyes' men who took the lead through Jarrod Bowen before Andrew Robertson pulled one back for the visitors. The Merseyside club then took the lead thanks to an Alphonse Areola own goal before Antonio fired back 12 minutes later.

Speaking about the match on the Footballers Football Podcast, Antonio recalled his goal. He said: "Jarrod is just a quality player. He gets it on his left foot and wants to go on his inside or outside. When he received it, I saw him running and thought, I'm getting in the box.

“When he's cut in on his left I knew he had the quality to drop it over the defender onto my head and that's what he's managed to do. I thought, just place it in the corner. It's come off my head and I've thought it's a bit loopy but it's dropped in."

Antonio did exactly that and wheeled away in celebration. Winger Kudus was waiting to congratulate Antonio and the striker leapt into his arms, only for the Ghanaian to end up collapsing on the ground.

Podcast host Rickie Haywood-Wiliams said: "We've got to talk about the celebration, man! I was hoping you'd do something mad but it was just as good, you jumped on Kudus and bear-hugged him. I didn't think he was going to make it out alive!"

Antonio replied: "I'm running and he's done that [put his arms out], and then again, so I jumped. You see me whisper in his ear because he's gone, 'You are too heavy bro!

"Obviously I did the drift afterwards as I went to go watch Red Pitch in the theatre. It was a decent watch. I met the actors afterwards and the producer is a Liverpool fans so they asked if I scored at the weekend, could I do the dance."
