Manchester United have agreed a transfer fee with Bayern Munich for full-back Noussair Mazraoui in what could be a fatal blow for West Ham with the London club also in hot pursuit of the 26-year-old.
The player's future became somewhat of a transfer debacle last week with the Hammers reportedly agreeing personal terms with the Morocco international. West Ham then hit a hurdle when negotiating with the German giants as Manchester United entered the race.

Hide AdThe Guardian now reports that the Red Devils have had a bid accepted by Bayern Munich, believed to be between £15 and £20 million. However, there remains a sticking point in any Mazraoui move, which could keep Hammers' interest alive.
The outlet adds that any fee paid by Erik ten Hag's side could require the sale of current first-team player Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The 26-year-old, who cost Manchester United a huge £50 million from Crystal Palace in 2019, has been linked with an exit from Old Trafford this summer.
United are expected to only be able to make £15 million from a Wan-Bissaka sale, with time of the essence given that the defender has just 12 months left on his current deal. West Ham had emerged as one likely destination for the player, although reports later suggested that Wan-Bissaka did not want a move to the London Stadium.
The defender is said to be aware that leaving Manchester United as a free agent in 12 months time may open up a more lucrative contract offer with any transfer fee removed from a deal.

The Hammers are in the market for a right-back this summer as Julen Loperegui prepares for his first season in charge at the club. Ben Johnson has left the club as a free agent this summer, and since joined Ipswich Town, while Vladimir Coufal has just 12 months left on his contract.
The latest developments could play to Lopetegui's favour, should Mazraoui's move to Manchester United collapse. The Hammers could also hope to land a sweeter deal for Wan-Bissaka with the Red Devils under pressure to sell.
