Luizao latest

West Ham man Luizao has been made available for loan, according to his agent, Wagner Trentin, who told Revista Colorada: “We’ve had enquiries from various clubs in Brazil, including Inter [Internacional].

“But we don’t have anything official from any club, just enquiries about interest and salary. Today West Ham are loaning him out with an option to buy. But who wouldn’t want to play for Inter? Today we’re more for the clubs than for ourselves. Inter actually approached us in the last window and didn’t make a move, there was another preference. But we’re open, if Inter make it official we won’t waste any time.”

Palace injury update

Palace boss Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Adam Wharton will remain out with injury for now. "He [Wharton] had a little bit of a reaction after the Wednesday and Thursday training sessions. [They were] very intense sessions and he had a bit of a reaction, so we had to reduce his workload, so he won’t be available,” Glasner said.

“It’s looking like nothing serious. Let’s see if he’s available for the Arsenal game in the week [Wednesday], or maybe at the weekend [Saturday 21st].”

Leon chooses United

Manchester United have beaten Arsenal to the signing of Paraguayan starlet Diego Leon. That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who tweeted: Manchester United reach verbal agreement to sign 17 year old Paraguayan left back Diego León from Cerro Porteno, here we go!

“Initial fee will be $4m plus $1m easy add-ons and over $3.5m based on player’s/team future performances. Diego León will arrive in July 2025.” Arsenal were said to be among the clubs pushing for a deal to land the young defender.
