The race for the play-offs is well and truly on for Watford with the club just three points off Coventry City in third place.
The Hornets are unbeaten in the last four Championship matches, although have only won one in that time, but are buoyed by the return of influential forward Emmanuel Dennis who has signed on loan from Nottingham Forest.
A couple more additions like that and Valérien Ismaël's side could well propel themselves into the top six and look at fighting for a place in the Premier League. LondonWorld looks at what the Watford starting XI could look like come the end of January if current transfer rumours are true.

10. ST - David Okereke
Il Giorno report that Cremonese striker Okereke has been eyed up as a replacement for Rhys Healy. The 26-year-old has been a fringe player in Serie B this season but scored nine in all competitions last campaign. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

11. Yaser Asprilla - 8
There is talk of a Watford move for Celtic star Liel Abada but the Israel international has barely played this season with injury and would have his work cut out displacing Asprilla. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
