According to a report by The Sun, he is now in discussions over a move to the DW Stadium. The report claims he has been in ‘contact’ with Greek club AEK recently after leaving Vicarage Road but would rather stay in this country.
Watford spell
Watford signed the England international in June 2021 and he penned a two-year deal with the Hertfordshire outfit.
However, he only made nine appearances in all competitions in the last campaign as they were relegated to the Championship.

Rose may now be embarking on a new chapter at Wigan and a move to the North West club would give him a fresh start.
He needs to get his career back on track and Leam Richardson’s would be able to give him regular game time.
They are currently a point behind Watford in the league table and the two sides play eachother at the end of October.
