Antonio Conte’s time at Tottenham Hotspur has drawn to a close after the best part of two seasons.
The Italian guided Spurs to a top four finish last season, but he wasn’t able to take the team further forward this term. Tottenham remain strong contenders to qualify for the Champions League again this season, but after Conte called out Tottenham’s players and owners last weekend, the ultimate outcome appeared inevitable. The decision was taken on Sunday, and assistant Christian Stellini will now oversee first-team matters until the end of the season.
There were plenty of memorable moments during Conte’s time at Tottenham, though, and here we look at nine of the best.
5. Securing top four
Tottenham had to win on the final day of last season to secure Champions League football, and they did just that with a memorable 5-0 away win over Norwich. Securing top four football was a big achievement for Spurs and Conte. | Getty Images

8. Kane’s history
Technically, Christian Stellini was on the touchline for this home win over Manchester City, but Conte obviously had a big say in the game plan. Not only did Spurs beat City again, but Kane also got his goal record. | AFP via Getty Images
