Tottenham vs Man City injury news with eight ruled out with three in doubt
Tottenham Hotspur welcome Manchester City to North London on Wednesday as they look for what would be their fourth Premier League win in a row.
They won 4-1 against Ipswich Town last time out, and are hoping to get the better of a City side, who haven’t had the best results at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in recent years.

Man City injury news
City could be without their key striker Erling Haaland, who missed the Liverpool game at the weekend. Guardiola said after the match: “He improved, but he did not feel good. I hope [he will be back on Wednesday], but we will see.”
However, speaking of City’s key players, Rodri remains out with a long-term knee injury which means he looks set to miss the remainder of the Premier League season. Defender Manuel Akanji is also out after he underwent surgery on his hamstring issue earlier in February.
John Stones will also miss the Spurs game after he has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. It is not yet understood as to how long he will be unavailable for.

The game against City will come too soon for striker Dominic Solanke, who is recovering from a knee injury. He will likely return in March after the international break.

Hide AdMicky Van de Ven has also been ruled out as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. He will also be looking at a return in March, much like Solanke. Postecoglou said: “Micky, we’re looking at the next two or three weeks.
“We decided to take a different strategy with him. We just want to make sure he’s absolutely right... talking to different people, he’s working with different medical teams and rehab staff to make sure he’s right.”
Richarlison suffered a calf injury during Tottenham’s 4-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup at the start of the month. He will also likely return in March providing some much-needed depth in attack.
Christian Romero is on a similar timeline as he is dealing with a hamstring injury. Postecoglou said: “We’re just waiting... the healing in his quad is taking longer than we thought. He’s got one more scan to make sure it’s healed properly.” He will also miss the Man City game.
