Tottenham handed massive Yves Bissouma boost ahead of Brighton Premier League clash

Tottenham are set for a massive lift when they host Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend with midfielder Yves Bissouma back for the game. The 27-year-old has returned to north London after Mali crashed out of the AFCON.
Bissouma struggled throughout the tournament in the Ivory Coast after picking up malaria which affected his impact. He was a late substitute as Mali, with a man advantage, threw away a lead to crash out of the AFCON in dramatic style to host Ivory Coast.

That was his second sending off the season and came at a time the team were struggling with injuries and suspension.
He underwent a routine check and will now prove his fitness ahead of the game against his former side Brighton. So he will be keen to impress straight away and make up for the lost time and regain the trust of his manager. He will be extra motivated also as the game is against Brighton, a club where he was a massive success before sealing the deal to Spurs.
Bissouma missed Tottenham’s trip to the Amex at the end of December due to suspension. He has played 15 times for Spurs this season but will meet renewed competition with Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Højbjergfit fit and in-form.
