Tottenham star could be set for surgery and three months out - and it's not Richarlison
Tottenham may be looking at two significant injury blow as they bid to turn things around.
Tottenham are said to be sweating over a potentially mammoth injury blow as Thomas Frank attempts to arrest an ever-worsening situation at the club. Spurs have slid down to 14th in the Premier League and they are now out of the FA Cup after losing to Aston Villa on Saturday.

Frank is under serious pressure and injuries are not helping his case, with a lack of early transfers making things difficult this month.
Brennan Johnson was sold early in the window, and with Dejan Kulusevski still out and Mohammed Kudus ruled out for a couple of months, Spurs have only become a weaker outfit in recent weeks.
Elsewhere in the squad, Rodrigo Bentancur has also picked up an injury recently, and according to reports in Uruguay, where Bentancur is from, there is building concern, with the World Cup coming up in the summer.
El Pais suggest that it is a nervy situation and that the midfielder will find out on Sunday whether he will need surgery on his injury, which is either a partial or full tear of the hamstring. If it’s the latter, and significant surgery is required, Bentancur would be expected to miss around three months of action, and the return process can often prove tricky for players even after that time has elapsed.
That would be another big blow for Tottenham, who will be hoping the hamstring issue is not a significant one as they look to turn things around over the coming weeks.
Richarlison blow
Elsewhere, Tottenham have also suffered a fresh blow in the form of Richarlison, who also picked up a hamstring injury, in his case against Aston Villa on Saturday.
“Yes, it could look like that. I think we have done a lot of things right to get him where he is now,” said Frank after the game. “I think he has done a lot of things right. I think it is not only about us, it is about every club. I think there are a few injuries across the Premier League.
“I think it is something for the football authorities to look into as well. We played five games in 13 days, four in 10, one of the few clubs that did that. This is our third time (doing that) this season. That is the most tricky thing, two days in between. We are dealing with it, we are doing everything we can to compete in it, but that is a tough schedule."
