There was late drama at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs and Manchester United both bagged injury time goals in the 2-2 draw on Saturday lunchtime.
It looked as if Thomas Frank’s side would continue their poor home form in the Premier League with an uninspired first half against the Red Devils. The in-form Bryan Mbeumo had the ball in the back of the net after 32 minutes.
Frank turned to Wilson Odobert, Destiny Udogie and Mathys Tel from the bench with the trio injecting energy into the home side’s performance. Tel rifled home from close range to bring the hosts back into the match before a clever Richarlison header seemed to have secured all three points late on.
Tottenham Hotspur then saw two of those points snatched away with seconds left on the clock, Matthijs de Ligt nodding home from a corner, leaving Spurs players dejected on the pitch at full time.
The result sees the two rivals remain level on points in the Premier League ahead of the international break with Tottenham Hotspur not back at home until the end of the month. Here’s how the players rated.

1. GK - Guglielmo Vicario, 4
Mbeumo caught his header well, giving Vicario little chance of batting it away, but an attempt at a dive might have been nice. Got a big hand on the De Ligt header and probably could have kept it out. Unconvincing. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

2. LB - Djed Spence, 5
Had a good chance to get on the end of a Porro cross in the first half but not alert enough. Not quite at the races today. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

3. CB - Micky Van de Ven, 7
The midweek hero had the stadium cheering when driving forwards early on. Needs to not get too carried away with that - losing possession in a dangerous place when attempting another dribble in the first half. Lucky not to see that punished. 4. CB - Cristian Romero, 7
Produced a tidy little flick to send Odobert's cross towards goal and force a good save from Lammens in the second half. That moment reenergised the side.
