Tottenham player ratings against Everton as Harry Kane produces best game of the season

Tottenham produced their best performance under Antonio Conte to beat Everton 5-0 at home.

Tottenham produced a five-star performance to beat Everton 5-0 and move within three points of fourth placed Arsenal in the Premier league table.

A Michael Keane own goal started it all off before Heung-min Son drove in the second for Spurs.

Harry Kane got his first of the night shortly afterwards before substitute Sergio Reguilon scored with his first touch of the ball to make it 4-0, and Kane volleyed home the fifth to seal an emphatic victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The win means Tottenham stay seventh in the league table, but with the same points as sixth-placed West Ham, two points behind fifth placed Manchester United and just three behind Arsenal who currently occupy the fourth place in the league table.

Heroes

Harry Kane The striker took his first goal well but it was the second, with a magnificent volley, that signified his return to his best form.

He played on the shoulders of the Everton defence and just seemed a class above all on the day. A truly special performance from the Spurs forward.

Ryan Sessegnon He started the whole show with a well taken cross that was deflected into the net by Keane, and was full of energy up and down the left side before his injury struck and took him out.

Hopefully it’s nothing serious as he was just coming into form at the right time.

Villains

Frank Lampard His team looked disorganised from the first minute to the last, and questions will be asked if he is the right man to get them out of the hole.

Michael Keane He scored an own goal and just never recovered from that.

He lost his man consistently and had to be replaced in the second half, an evening to forget for the English defender.
