Tottenham return to action this weekend when they face Everton.

Antonio Conte’s men have picked up of late, bouncing back from a defeat to Arsenal with a win over Brighton and another in the Champions League, defeating Eintracht Frankfurt during the week. Spurs are keeping up the pressure on those at the very top, and they will want to make it three straight wins this weekend.

Everton have been in good form of late, but they head to north London wanting to bounce back from a defeat to Manchester United last time out. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Tottenham.

Take a look below:

Skriniar opportunity

Spurs may have fresh hope of signing Inter Milan star Milan Skriniar. Tottenham have been heavily linked with Skriniar in the past, and they continue to be tipped to sign a centre-back.

According to Tuttosport, contract talks between Inter and Skriniar have not gone well, and the defender is now on course to leave the club for nothing next summer. With that in mind, Inter are said to be considering selling Skriniar on the cheap in January, potentially giving Tottenham the chance to complete a deal.

Ugarte move

Tottenham are said to have made a move to sign Sporting CP star Manuel Ugarte. According to Jornal de Noticias, Spurs have now made contact over a possible move with PSG also beginning their efforts to strike a deal.

In the meantime, Sporting are said to be trying to tie the midfielder down to a new deal. As things stand, Ugarte is under a £52.1million release clause, but if he pens a new deal, it’s reported that will rise to £65.5million with the new deal.

With all that in mind, it’s reported Tottenham are now trying to get a deal underway before Ugarte signs new terms.
