Tottenham Hotspur look to put Brighton embarrassment behind them against West Ham.

Prior to the last round of Premier League action, Tottenham Hotspur may have been licking their lips at the prospect of a visit from out-of-sorts West Ham.

However, throwing away a 2-0 lead to be beaten by Brighton at the Amex Stadium before the international break will still be fresh in the minds of Ange Postecoglou and his men, who now desperately look for an immediate reply.

Meanwhile, West Ham put four past new boys Ipswich Town and will make the trip across London buoyed by that performance. Here's how Spurs could line up this weekend.

GK - Vicario

Played every minute of the campaign last season and is on his way to doing the same again this term. Has kept two clean sheets so far this season, against Manchester United and Everton.

LB - Destiny Udogie

There were some worries over a quad injury after the 3-0 win over Manchester United last month but the full-back played the full 90 in the embarrassing Brighton defeat so should be fit to face West Ham.

CB - Micky Van de Ven

Came under criticism for his international performances over the break after that Brighton capitulation. Former Spurs man Rafael van der Vaart labelled the Dutchman 'no Van Dijk', but the 23-year-old retains Postecoglou's backing - he also has two assists this term.

CB - Cristian Romero

Has had the opposite week to his centre-back partner. Romero was hailed as 'remarkable' by the Argentine press for his involvement in the nation's 6-0 thrashing of Bolivia on Wednesday.

RB - Pedro Porro

The full-back has been a mainstay so far this season and is a vital cog in the Postecoglou machine, both in defence and in attacking moves. The 25-year-old is still searching for his first assist of the season, having scored in the campaign opener against Leicester City.

CM - James Maddison

Perhaps not at his most influential yet this season, but the England international has two goals and two assists to his name. The midfielder will fancy his chances at unlocking a leaky West Ham defence.

CM - Rodrigo Bentacur

Was hooked by Postecoglou shortly after the third Brighton goal went in last time out but has started the last four Premier League games. Will be looking to put things right against West Ham.

CM - Dejan Kulusevski

Had somewhat of an injury scare on international duty after being on the receiving end of a hefty challenge from Estonia man Karol Mets. The 24-year-old managed to play on and picked up an assist in the 3-0 win as he captained Sweden.

LW - Timo Werner

Postecoglou is expected to welcome back Son Heung-min into the matchday squad for the first time since September but it is thought that Werner will hold down the starting berth for now, with the Spurs captain potentially featuring from the bench.

ST - Dominic Solanke

Was given a cameo off the bench for England against Estonia as a reward for his recent form. The marquee summer signing has three goals and two for Spurs in his last five appearances across all competitions.

RW - Brennan Johnson

A man in form, Johnson has scored in the last three Premier League matches against Brentford, Manchester United and Brighton. The former Nottingham Forest man could find joy up against the attack-minded Emerson this weekend.
