Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly working on a deal to sign Jobe Bellingham from Birmingham City. The Premier League side are keen to land the brother of England and Borussia Dortmund star Jude.

According to Football Insider, Antonio Conte’s side have a ‘strong interest’ in the promising midfielder and want to lure him down to London ahead of the summer. The report adds that the player has other clubs keen on him from other top flight clubs and from the Bundesliga.

Spurs could see the 17-year-old as a decent long-term option. He has made 14 league appearances for Birmingham so far this season in the Championship.

It is expected to be a busy couple of days ahead at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It has been well documented that the club are trying to complete a deal to land right-back Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon. In this latest update by reporter Fabrizio Romano on Twitter (see tweet below), the club want to get all contracts signed today after reaching a verbal agreement.

Porro has been a key player for Sporting Lisbon over the past couple of seasons and has previously been on the books at Manchester City. However, he didn’t play for their first-team but is now closing in a move back to England.

Spurs currently have Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty in his position but will hope their proposed new recruit can significantly strenghten them in that area.
