Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham are both reportedly interested in Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma. The Holland international is attracting plenty of interest from the Premier League in this January transfer window.

The Daily Mail claim the London pair have both ‘discussed’ the possibility of signing him this winter. The likes of Aston Villa, Everton, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest are also keen on him.

Spurs could see him as someone to add more competition and depth in forward areas. Lucas Moura is poised to leave at the end of the season when his contract expires and they need to start thinking of long-term replacement in their attacking department.

West Ham have slipped into the relegation zone and could do with bringing in some reinforcements ahead of the second-half of the campaign. They lost 1-0 away at Wolves this weekend.

Danjuma, 25, spent two years at Bournemouth from 2019 to 2021 and was a hit with the Cherries, scoring 17 goals in 52 appearances in all competitions. He left for Villarreal and has since fired 22 goals in 51 outings for the La Liga outfit.

The former PSV, NEC Nijmegen and Club Brugge man appears to be heading back to England this month though and the race is on for his signature. Spurs and West Ham are in the frame but there is a lot of competition.
