Tottenham fans made their feelings clear about Richarlison when he got up to warm up during the game against West Ham in the Premier League. The Lilywhites fans had not seen the Brazilian forward for the last three home games, as a hamstring injury had kept him sidelined.
But he was reminded of the affection he has from the North London faithful when he received a huge round of applause from the fans as he first stepped up to warm up. At that time, Spurs were a goal down after Mohammed Kudus put the visitors ahead, and the atmosphere in the stadium was tense. Despite the worry, the fans showed their support for the Brazilian forward as he made his latest attempt to return to the team.

Richarlison arrived at Spurs from Everton two seasons ago as a striker to play alongside Harry Kane. He had his best season in the absence of the Englishman, scoring 11 league goals as Spurs finished fifth under Ange Postecoglou last season.
The club has since signed Dominic Solanke, as they look to bolster their attack and push not only for a Champions League spot but also for their first trophy since 2008.
Richarlison's popularity among Spurs fans grew even more when he turned down a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer. He admitted that the money was tempting, but he had bigger ambitions and felt he had unfinished business with the club.
As for the game itself, goals from Dejan Kulusevski, Yves Bissouma, and a brace from captain Son Heung-min meant Spurs came from a goal down to win 4-1 on the day.
