Tottenham exit is a done deal as defender arrives in Germany to complete £4m move

Eric Dier has made over 200 appearances for Tottenham, including the Champions League final in 2019.

Tottenham defender Eric Dier is set to reunite with Harry Kane in a sensational move after agreeing a deal with Bayern Munich. Dier has played little football this season, mostly featuring as a back-up since Ange Postecoglou took over but is now set for a fresh start in the German Bundesliga.

Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel, previously at Chelsea where he won the Champions League in 2021, has settled on the England defender after missing out on Genoa's Romanian defender Radu Dragusin to the north London club earlier this week.

Dier has now arrived in Munich where he will undergo his medical before signing his contract that sees him reunited with close friend and fellow England international Harry Kane who has taken to life in Germany as a duck to water.

The striker has scored 21 times in 15 Bundesliga appearances this season and all that while staying in a hotel, he only recently found a new home and has now moved in permanently as his adjustment to life in the Bundesliga continues to sky rocket.

Tuchel who has been mandated to win the Champions League as well as the German League likes the fact that Dier can play both as a defender and a holding midfielder and speaks multiple languages from his time growing up in Portugal.

LondonWorld has been told Spurs will make around £4million from the sale, a massive fee given the defender was in the last six months of his current deal and the Lilywhites could have lost him for nothing in the summer.
